- Spring Semester: Classes begin on Tuesday, January 28 and will run until Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Late registration is possible throughout the semester. Students should still register via the links above and will need to pay the full price for classes regardless of when they start in the term. More Information: MFIS English classes are taught by volunteers with a range of English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching experience. Classes vary in size from small conversation classes to large group sizes. Classes are intended for international students & scholars as well as their relatives and friends. All classes meet at the First Baptist Church, 518 N. Franklin Avenue (near University Avenue on Madison’s near west side) but have no religious affiliation.
